4 The Anti -T ip Bracket The range will not tip during normal use. However , the range can tip i f you apply too much for ce or weig ht to the open door without the anti-tip br acket fastened down properly . Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.

6 COOKTOP USE Con trol K nob s Electr ic ignit ors au tomati cally li ght the surfac e burners wh en control knobs are turned t o LIGHT . Before setting a control knob, p lace fil led cookware on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is vac ant.
7 To C l e a n : IMPORT ANT : Before cleaning, make sure all controls are of f and the oven and c ooktop are cool. Do not u se oven cle aners, bl each or rust remov ers. 1. Remove the bu rn er cap from the bur ner base and cle an according to “General Cleani ng” section.
8 Electronic Clock/T im er (on som e m odel s) Display When pow er is first s upplie d to the appl iance, everyt hing on th e display wi ll light u p for 5 secon ds. Then “PF” will ap pear on the displa y . Any other time “PF” appears, a power failure occurred.

10 BAKEWARE T o coo k food e venly , hot air mu st be able to ci rcul ate . Allow 2 in. (5 cm) of space a round bakeware and oven wal ls. Use the following chart as a guid e. Bakeware The bakeware material af fects cooking results. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendati ons and us e the bakeware size recommended in the recipe.
11 Baking and Roasting Do not place food or cookware dir ectly on the oven door or the oven bottom. Before baking an d roasting, position th e racks according to the “Position ing Racks and B akeware” section.
12 Prepare Oven: ■ Remove t he broil er pan, grid , cookwar e and b akewar e and, on some models, th e temperature probe from the oven. ■ Remove any foi l from the oven because i t may bur n or melt, damaging the oven. ■ Remove oven racks t o keep them sh iny and ea sy to sl ide.
