4 The Anti -T ip Bracket The range will not tip during normal use. However , the range can tip i f you apply too much for ce or weig ht to the open door without the anti-tip br acket fastened down properly . Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.

6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontro ls Electr ic ignit ors au tomati cally li ght the surfac e burners wh en control knobs are turned t o LIGHT . Before setting a control knob, p lace fil led cookware on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccu pied.
7 To C l e a n : IMPORT ANT : Before cleaning, make sure all controls are of f and the oven and c ooktop are cool. Do not u se oven cle aners, bl each or rust remov ers. 1. Remove the bu rn er cap from the bur ner base and cle an according to “General Cleani ng” section.

9 Co ntro l L ock The Cont rol Lock shu ts down the control pa nel pads to prevent unint ended us e of the ove n. When the contr ol is lo cked , only the C LOCK an d TIM ER pa ds w ill funct ion. T o Lock/Unlock Control: Before locking, make sure the oven and Timer are off.
10 BAKEWARE T o coo k food e venly , hot air mu st be able to ci rcul ate . Allow 2 in. (5 cm) of space a round bakeware and oven wal ls. Use the following chart as a guid e. Bakeware The bakeware material af fects cooking results. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendati ons and us e the bakeware size recommended in the recipe.
11 OVEN USE Baking and Roasting Before baking an d roasting, positi on rack s accor ding to the “Position ing Racks and B akeware” section. Wh en roasting, it i s not neces sary to wa it for the ov en preheat condi tioning time to end before putt ing food in unles s recommended in the recipe.
