6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontro ls Electr ic ignit ors au tomati cally li ght the surfac e burners wh en control knobs are turned t o LIGHT . Before setting a control knob, p lace fil led cookware on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccu pied.
7 To C l e a n : IMPORT ANT : Before cleaning, make sure all controls are of f and the oven and c ooktop are cool. Do not u se oven cle aners, bl each or rust remov ers. 1. Remove the bu rn er cap from the bur ner base and cle an according to “General Cleani ng” section.
8 OVEN C ONTROL Indicat or Light s The B AKE, BRO IL and CLEAN indi cat or lig hts w ill co me on when that setti ng is select ed. For example, when the BAKE pad is pre ssed, or when th e knob is tu rned to BAKE (on some m odels) the B AKE indica tor lig ht will come on.
