7 DISHW ASHER LOADING Loading Suggestions ■ Remove leftover food, bones, toothpicks and other h ard items from the dishes . It is not nece ssary to rinse the dishe s befor e putt ing them i nto the d ishwashe r . The wash modu le removes food particles from t he water .
8 Loa ding Bo ttom Rack The bottom rack is designed for plate s, pans, casse roles, and utensils. Items with cooked-on or dried-on food should be loaded with soil ed surfaces faci ng inward to the sp ray . (Se e recommended loading pat tern s shown.) 9 DISHW ASHER USE Detergent D ispenser The det ergent dispenser h as 2 secti ons. The P re-W ash secti on empties de tergent into the di shwasher when you close t he door . The larger Main W ash sect ion automati cally empt ies detergent into t he dish washer during th e main wash.
10 Rinse Aid Dispenser Rinse aids prevent water from forming d roplets th at can d ry as spot s or st re aks. T hey al so imp ro ve dry ing by allow ing wa ter to drain off of the dishes d uring the final rinse by releasing a sm all amount of the rin se aid into t he rinse wat er .
11 Cycle time in cludes dry ti me. An asteri sk ( * ) by the cycle t ime indica tes the cycle time might b e longer depen ding on the temperature of th e water enterin g the dish washer . The cooler t he water , the lon ger the cycl e time. If the wat er is already hot enough, the cyc le time wil l be as shown.
12 Option Selections Y ou can customize your cycl es by pressin g an option. If you change your mind , press RE SET OPTIONS t o turn the option off. Selec t a different option if de sired. Y ou can change an option an ytime before the se lected opt ion begins.

14 DISHW ASHER CARE Cleaning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter ge nt is a ll th at is n eces sary to keep t he ou tside of you r dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwasher h as a stainles s steel exterior , a stain less steel cl eaner is recommended.
