13 1. Press CLOCK. 2. Set the time. Press the “up” ( s ) or “down” ( t ) pad(s) until the correct time shows on the display . 3. Start the clock.
14 USING YOUR RANGE 3. Start the minute timer . The minute timer will begin counting down immediately after the timer is started. When the time is up: Y ou will hear four 1-second tones, then four 1-second reminder tones every minute until you press TIMER OFF.
NOTE: Y ou can change the temperature setting any time after pressing ST ART/ENTER. Y ou do not have to press ST ART/ENTER again. The preheat time will not change if you reset the temperatur e before the countdown time ends.
16 PRESS YOU SEE OFF CANCEL (time of day) Although your new oven is properly adjusted to provide accurate temperatur es, it may cook faster or slower than your old oven. If you are not satisfied with the baking/r oasting results, you can change the of fset temperature by following the steps below .
17 2. Set the new offset temperatur e. Press s to raise the temperatur e or t to lower the temperature in 10°F amounts. Y ou can set the temperature change to as low as -30°F or as high as +30°F . A minus (-) sign will appear before the number when decreasing the temperatur e setting.
4. Press CUSTOM BROIL. 5. Start oven. Y ou can change the temperature setting any time after pressing ST ART/ENTER. T o change the setting, see “T o custom broil at a lower temperature” below . After changing the setting, you do not have to press ST ART/ENTER again.
T o custom broil at a lower temperature: • If food is cooking too fast, press the ▼ temp pad until “325°F” shows on the small display . • If you want food to broil slower fr om the start, press CUSTOM BROIL and pr ess the ▼ temp pad so a temperature between 300°F and 500°F shows on the small display .
20 T HE OVEN VENT Hot air and moisture escape fr om the oven through a vent under the left rear coil element. Y ou can cook on this coil element or keep food warm on it while the oven is on. The vent is needed for air cir- culation. Do not block the vent by using extra large pans or covers.
21 USING YOUR RANGE T HE STORAGE DRA WER Use the storage drawer to store cookwar e. Y ou can remove the storage drawer to make it easier to clean under your range. Removing the storage drawer: 1. Empty the drawer before you r emove it. Pull the drawer straight out to the first stop.

25 CARING FOR YOUR RANGE C OIL ELEMENTS AND REFLECTOR BOWLS ( CONT . ) 4. When the terminal is pushed into the receptacle as far as it will go, push down the edge of the coil element opposite the receptacle. NOTE: Reflector bowls reflect heat back to the cookware on the coil elements.
