6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontrols The control knobs can be set to anywhere betw een HI and LO. Push in a nd turn to setting . On some models, the surface cook ing area locator shows which element is turned on . Use the following chart as a guide when settin g heat levels .

8 OVEN USE Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is u sed the first few times, or when it is heavi ly soiled . IMPORT AN T : The health of some birds is extremely sensi tive to the f umes given off. Expo sur e to t he fume s may r esult in death to certain birds.
9 Bakewa re The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufact urer ’ s recommendations and use the b akeware size recommended in the recipe. Use the following ch art as a guide.
