4 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Disp lay When power is first supp lied to the appl iance, every thing on both displays will light up for 5 seco nds. Then, the time of d ay and “PF” will appear on the electr onic oven display . If “PF” appears at any other time, a pow er failure has occurred.

6 OVEN USE Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is u sed the first few times, or when it is heavi ly soiled . IMPORT AN T : The health of some birds is extremely sensi tive to the f umes gi ven off . Exposu re to the fumes may r esult in dea th to certain birds.
7 Mea t Th ermo mete r On models wit hout a temperatu re probe, use a meat thermometer to dete rmine whether meat, poultry and fi sh, are cooked to the de sired degree of doneness. The inter nal temperature, no t appearance , should be used t o determine donenes s.
8 Broiling an d Custom Broilin g Broiling uses direct radiant heat from the broil element to cook food. During broiling, th e broil element cycl es on and off in interv als to mainta in the oven te mperatu re . If the oven door is opened durin g br oiling , the broil element w ill turn off immediately and come back on once the door is closed .
9 Conve ction Cook ing (on so me models) In a convectio n oven, the fan-circulated hot air continual ly distributes heat mor e evenly than t he natural movement of air i n a standard thermal oven.
10 2. Press ST ART . A pr eheat t ime will count down and “PrE ” will ap pear on th e oven disp lay if th e actual oven t emperature is un der 170°F (75°C) . When the actual oven tempe rature reaches 170°F ( 75°C), th e timer will continue counti ng down.

13 T o S elf-Clean: Before self-clean ing, make su r e the door is closed compl etely or it will not lock and the cycl e will not begin. 1. Press AUTO CLEAN. Press the nu mber pads to set a clean ti me other t han 3 hours 30 minutes. The clean time can be set between 2 h ours 30 minut es and 4 hours 30 min utes in 30 -minute increments .

24 5. Appuyer sur UPPER OFF/CANCEL (a rrêt/annulation du fou r supérieur), LO WER OFF/CANCEL (arrêt/ann ulation du four inférieur) ou OFF/CANCEL (arrêt/annulation) l orsque la cuisson est termi née.
25 Cuisson au four o u rôtissage par convection : Avant la cuis son au f our ou le rôtissage pa r convection , placer les grille s tel qu’in diqué à l a sec tion “P osition nement des g rilles e t des u stensile s de cui sson”. Lors de l ’utilisa tion de deux gril les, les place r aux positions 2 et 4.
