6 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Display When power is first supp lied to the ap plianc e, everything on both displays will light up for 5 se conds. Then, the time of day a nd “PF” will appear on the electr onic oven display . Any other time “PF” app ears, a power failu re occurred.
7 To n e V o l u m e The volume is preset a t high, but can be c hanged to low . T o Change: Press and hold t he DEL A Y ST ART TIM E pad for 5 seconds . A tone wil l sound and “Snd Hi” and “S nd Lo” will r emain on th e oven dis play . T o remove, pr ess UPPE R OFF , LOWER OFF or OFF/CANCEL.
8 OVEN USE Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is u sed the first few times, or when it is heavi ly soile d. During oven use, the heat ing elements will not remain on, but will cycle on an d off throughout oven operation . IMPORT ANT : The health of some birds is extremely se nsitive t o the f umes gi ven of f.
9 Meat Thermometer On models wit hout a temperature probe, always rely on a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat and poultry . The inter nal temperat ure, not appearance, is wha t counts. A meat thermometer is not s upplied with t his appliance.
