5 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Display When power is first supplied to the appliance, ev erything on both displays will light up for 5 second s. Then, the time of day and “PF” will appear on the electronic oven display . If “PF” appears at any other ti m e, a power failure ha s occurred.
6 All T ones All of the above tones are preset on, but can be turned off. T o T ur n Of f/On: Pr ess and hold STOP TIME for 5 seconds, and a tone will sound. On double oven s only , “Snd OFF” and “Snd On” will remain in the display . T o r emove, press UPPER OFF/CANCEL, LOWER OFF/CANCEL, or OFF/CANCEL.
7 OVEN USE Odors and smoke ar e normal when the oven is used the first fe w times, or when it is heavily soiled. During oven use, the he ating elements will not remain on, but will cycle on and off throughout oven operation. IMPORT ANT : The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off.
8 Meat Thermometer On models without a temperature pr obe, use a meat thermometer to determine whethe r meat, poultry and fish, are cooked to the desire d degree of doneness. The internal temperature, not appearance, sh ould be used to determine doneness.
9 ■ For best r esults, use a broiler pan and grid. They ar e designed to drain juices and help avoid spatter and smoke. If you would like to pur c hase a br oiler pan, one may be order ed. See “Assistance or Service” section to order . Ask for Part Number 4396923.
10 4. Pre ss the HOUR and MIN “+” or “-” keypads to enter the length of time to cook. 5. Press ST ART . The start time, th e stop time countdow n and “TIMED” will appear on the oven display .
11 T o Self-Clean: Before self-cleaning, make sure the door is closed completely or it will not lock and the cycle will not begin. 1. Press AUTO CLEAN. 2. Press the HOUR “+” or “-” keypads to set a clean time other than 3 hours 30 minutes. The clean time can be set betwee n 2 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours 30 minut es.
12 Oven Lights The oven lights are standard 15-watt appliance bulbs. They will come on when the oven door is opened. On double oven models with self-clean upper and lower ovens, all oven lights will come on when either door is opened .

21 Thermomètre à viande Sur les modèles sans sonde th ermométrique, se servir d'un thermomètre à viande pour vérifier si la vian de, la volaille et le poisson ont atteint le degré de cuisson désiré. C'est la température interne qui indique le degré de cuisson et non l'apparence.
22 Cuisson au gril et cuisson au gril p ersonnalisée La cuisson au gril utilise u ne chaleur radiante directe pour cuire les aliments. Duran t la cuisson au gril , l’élément de cuisson au gril s’allume et s’éteint par inte rmittence pour maintenir la température du four .
