5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Unpacki ng 1. Empty the micr owave oven of any packing materials . 2. Clean the inside with a soft, damp cloth. 3. Check for damage, such as: ■ a door that is not lined up correctly ■ damage around the door , or ■ dents on the interior or exte rior of the microwave oven.

7 Display When power is first supplied to the microwave oven, “PLEASE SET TIME OF DA Y” scrolls across the display , and then a “:” will appear in the display and 1 tone will sound. If at any other time the above text scrolls, and is followed by a “:” in the display , a power failure has occurred.
8 MICROWAVE OVEN USE A magnetron in the microwave oven pr oduces microwaves which reflect of f the metal floor , walls and ceilin g and pass through the turntable and appr opriate cookware to the food.
9 Cookwar e and Dinn erware Cookware and dinnerware must fit on the turntable. Always use oven mitts or pot hold ers when handling because any dish may become hot fr om heat transferr ed from the food. Do not use cookware and dinnerware with gold or silver trim.
10 Manual Cook ing To U s e : 1. Place food on the turntable and close the door . 2. T ouch COOK TIME. “ENTER COOK TIME” will scroll acr oss display . Enter length of time to cook. If cooking with 100% power , skip Step 3. 3. T ouch COOK POWER, then set the desired cooking power .
11 Pizza Reheat times have been preset for 1, 2 or 3 refrigerated pizza slices, 5 oz (142 g) each. ■ Place pizza slice(s) on a paper towel or paper plate. T o Use PIZZA: 1. Place pizza on the turntable, and close the door . 2. T ouch PIZZA. 3. Enter the number of slices: 1, 2 or 3.
12 EZ-CHOICE ® Auto Defro st The EZ-CHOICE ® Auto Defrost system has pr eset times and cook powers for 3 categories: Meat, Poultry and Fish. ■ Unwrap foods and remove lids (for example, from fruit juice containers) before defr osting. ■ Shallow packages will defrost more quickly than deep blocks.
