5 Electrical R equirements Observe all gover ning cod es and ordinances. A 120 V olt, 60 Hz, AC only , 15- or 20-amp fuse d electric al supply is re quired. (A time -delay fus e or c ircu it br eaker i s reco mmende d.) It is recommended that a sepa rate circuit serv ing only this appliance be provided.

7 Sizzle P an and Handle The Sizzle P an, wit h a nonsti ck surface and a detac hable h andle, has been spec ially de signed for microwave use, and is ideal for pan-frying (pan-browning) foods in the oven. The Sizzle Pan is also us ed as a dr ip pan for gril ling.
8 To u c h S c r e e n The LCD t ouch scr een is used to i n put commands. A light- to medium-press ure touch of the fin gertip will activat e the menu choice. However , sensitiv ity of the tou ch screen may vary , and using th e tips or bac ks of fi ngerna ils may p rovide more accuracy whe n inputtin g com mands.
9 Start The ST AR T contr ol will start any fun ctio n. If coo king is interrup ted, tou ching the ST ART c ontrol p a d will resume the preset cycl e. For added con venience, the “Start” t ouch pad is also a vailable on some display s creens, and provides th e same function as the ST A RT control p ad.
10 Hints & Settings Functions can be sel ected, and displays can be c hanged by using the “Hin ts & Setting s” men u. 1. On “Home” screen, touch “More Choices.” 2. T ouch “H ints & S e tti ngs.” 3. T ouch desir ed category (touch “More Choices” for mor e categories), and choose settings.

12 Cookware and Dinne rware Cookware and dinnerware must fi t on the tur ntabl e. Always us e oven mitts or pot holders when ha ndling becau se any di sh may become hot from heat transf erred from the food. Do not use cookwar e and dinnerwar e with gold or silver trim.
13 Cooking T o Use the Auto Cooking F unc tions: When using prese t cooking powers and cook times for s elected food types (Cereal, Eggs, Fr ozen Food, V egetable, Grai ns, Meat, Poultry , and Fish) , follow the “Cook” menus to sel ect amounts and begin the auto function.
14 Po p c o r n Popcorn is a sensor function. The sensor determines the appropriate poppi ng time of commerciall y packaged microwavable popcor n. ■ Remove rectangul ar cooking rack before use. ■ Do not use regular paper ba gs or glassware. ■ Pop only 1 package of popc orn at a time.
15 Defrosting The auto defrost feature has 3 cate gories: Me at, Poultr y and Fish. It should no t be used for food lef t outside th e freezer more than 20 minutes an d frozen r eady-made food. Th e oven can also be manua lly set to def ros t. ■ Food should be 0º F (-18ºC) or colder at defrosting for op timal r esults.
16 Grill The Gril l function uses a 1,500-wa tt halogen and q uartz el ement that heat s quickly to grill a var iety o f foo ds. ■ Oven cavit y and door will be come very hot durin g grill element use. Th e use of oven mitts is recommended. ■ The circular grill rack and Sizzle Pa n will become very hot.
17 T o Use Simme r Rice/Simmer Pasta: 1. On “Home” screen, touch “More Choices.” 2. T ouch “Simmer R ice” or “Simmer Pas t a.” 3. Follow men u to se lect sp ecific food t o be simmere d. 4. Enter amou nt. Donene ss may be adjus ted at this ti me by touchin g “Doneness,” and then to uching “+” or “-.
18 Sizz le P an F eature The Sizzle Pan f eature uses the pan to brown, crisp, and pan-fry foods in the oven. The Sizzle Pan r eaches its optimal cooking temperature in ap proximately 3 min utes. Use the p an as quic kly as poss ible after i t is heated for b est results.
19 T o Soften or Melt: 1. Place container of food on tur ntable. 2. On “Home” screen, touch “More Choices.” 3. On “More Choi ces” screen, t ouch “Soften & Melt.” 4. Select ei ther “Soften” or “Mel t.” 5. Select food item to be softene d or melted.
20 OVEN CARE General Cleanin g IMPORT AN T : Before cleani ng, make sure all controls are of f and the ov en is cool. A lways follow label ins tructions on cleanin g products. Soap, wat er and a sof t cloth or sponge are suggested first unless otherwise noted.
21 Replacing F ilters The grease filters should be removed and cleaned at least once a month. Do not opera te the oven without th e filters in plac e. The charcoal filter cannot be washed a nd should be replaced every 6 to 12 month s. See “Assis tance or Ser vice” to reorder filte rs.
