6 Start The ST ART pad begins any function. If it is not touched w ithin 5 secon ds after touchi ng a pad, “PRESS ST ART” will scroll in the displa y as a remind er . If ST AR T pad is not tou ched wi thin 2 minutes af ter touchi ng a pad, the d isplay will return to t he time of day mo de and the progra mmed functi on will be canceled .
7 Cookto p Light The cooktop light has 3 s ettings: high , low and of f. T o T ur n Ligh t On/O ff: T ouch L IGHT pad once for high , twice for low or 3 ti mes for off.
8 Cookware an d Dinnerware Cookware and dinnerware must fi t on the tur ntabl e. Always us e oven mitts or pot holders when ha ndling becau se any di sh may become hot from heat transf erred from the food. Do not use cookwar e and d i nnerwa re w ith gold or silver trim.
9 Manual Cook ing To U s e : 1. Place food on t he turn table and cl ose the door . 2. T ouch COOK TIM E, then ente r a length of time to cook. If cooking with 100% power , skip S tep 3. 3. T ouch COOK POWER, t hen enter the des ired power level using the appropriat e number pad or T ouch COOK POWE R r epeated ly to select the desired pow er level.
