8 Operating Sequence Before your first wash, we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 60°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the dispenser drawer and start the machine.

It is a good idea to periodically run a high temperature wash with detergent or use a descaler in the machine.
