3 IMPORT ANT SAFE T Y INSTRUCTIONS Do not heat, or use fl ammable materials in or near the oven. F umes can create a fi re hazard or explosion. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance. This type of oven is specifi cally designed to heat or cook f ood.
4 GENERAL This appliance is designed for domestic use only! The appliance should not be operated without food in the oven when using micro waves. Operation in this manner is likely to damage the appliance. The ventilation openings on the oven must not be co vered.
5 AC CESSORIES GENERAL There ar e a number of accessories available on the market. Before y ou buy, ensur e they are suitable for micro wave use. If accessories c ontaining metal comes in contact with the oven interior , while the ov en is in operation, sparking can occur and the oven could be damaged .
6 ST ART PROTECTION / CHILD L OCK This automatic saf ety func tion is activated one minute after the oven has returned to “ stand by mode“ . ( The ov en is in “ stand by” when the 24-hour clock is displayed or if the clock has not been set, when the display is blank).
7 HOW T O USE THE TIMER Use this function when you need a kitchen timer to measure exact time for various purposes such as cooking eggs, pasta or letting the dough rise before baking etc. 1. Press the Clock butt on. 2. Press the +/- butt ons ( ) to set the desired length of the timer .
8 MICROW A VES ONL Y Po wer Suggested use: JET Reheating of beverages, water , clear soups, coff ee, tea or other f ood with a high water content. If the food contains egg or cr eam choose a lower pow er . 750 W Cooking of vegetables, fi sh, meat etc.
9 HOW T O USE THE JET DEFROST Use this function for defrosting Meat, F ish & Poultry ONL Y . Jet Defrost should only be used if the net weight is between 100 - 1500g. Note: the oven continues aut omatically af ter 2 min if the food hasn ’t been turned.
10 HOW T O USE THE MANU AL DEFROST Follo w the procedure for ”Ho w to use the microwa ves” and choose Pow er Level 160 W when defrosting manually . Check and inspect the food regularly . Experience will give y ou the times needed for various amounts.
11 HOW T O USE THE STEAM Use this function to cook fi sh and vegetables. Alway s use the supplied Steamer when using this function. 1. Press the St eam button. 2. Continue to press the St eam button to set the food class. 3. Press the +/- butt ons ( ) to set the weight of the food.
12 HOW T O USE THE MEMORY The Memory function provides you with an easy way to quickly recall a pref erred setting. The principle of the Memory function is to store whatev er setting that is currently displayed . 1. Press the Memo button. 2. Press the Start button.
13 MAINTENANCE & CLEANING Cleaning is the only maintenance normally required . I t must be carried out with the microwa ve oven disconnected.
