Operating Instructions Continued The automatic cycles The automatic cycles allow you to select the degree of dryness you prefer for the clothes being dried. The electronic DRY-MISER@ control is an electronic sensor that determines the amount of moisture in the clothes.
TIMED DRYING Usina FLUFF AIR Fire Hazard Do not dry plastic or rubber items with heat. Use FLUFF AIR setting, or line dry. Failure to do so could result in fire or damaged items. The dryer does not heat when the Cycle Control Knob is set in FLUFF AIR.
Operating Instructions Continued Using DAMP DRY Use this setting to dry damp items that do not require an entire drying cycle, or to dry items to damp level. (Two exam- ples are heavy cottons, such as jeans, which you do not want to become stiff, or cotton clothes which are easier to press when damp.
Additional Dryer Features Gentle Heat system FINISH GUARD@ setting The dryer automatically reduces the heat settings in HEAVY HIGH and PERM’T PRESS, During the last few minutes of each of these temperature settings, the dryer temperature gradu- ally reduces to a lower heat setting.
Caring For Your Dryer Cleaning the lint screen The lint screen is located under a lid on top of the dryer. Clean it before each load. A screen blocked by lint can increase drying time. 1. Open the lid and pull the lint screen straight out. 2. Roll lint off the screen with your fingers.
Powdered laundry detergent Make a paste with detergent and very warm water. Apply paste to a soft cloth and scrub area until all excess dye is removed. Wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth. Tumble a load of rags to dry. -OR- Liquid household cleaner Apply to stained area.
