What happens in each pre-wash option Use Pre-Wash Options to provide extra cleaning to heavily soiled or stained items. For best results, use warm water for soaking or pre-washing stained items. The HOT WATER Option cannot be selected with any Pre-Wash Options.
Operating Instructions Continued Pre-Wash Option Use PRE-WASH Option on loads that need some pretreating before the wash cycle. Use recommended amount of detergent or pre-soak additive. Super Wash Option Use for washing heavily soiled loads that require maxrmum soil removal.
What happens in each fabric selection Each Fabric Selectron has pre-set agitation and spin speeds designed for drfferent kinds of fabrics. All Fabric Selections are preset to use warm wash water and cold rinse water. These temperatures can be changed by touching the pad that corre- sponds to the temperature you want.
Operating Instructions Continued Permanent Press Selection A special selection with the necessary cool-down rinses which helps keep wrinkles from setting into permanent press and some synthetic fabrics. Knits Gentle Selection A selection that gently washes and spins delicate and washable knits.
What happens in each rinse option There are three Rinse Options and one Spin Option. All Fabric Selections are preset to use cold rinse water. The washer will pause briefly throughout each cycle. These pauses are normal. They allow for the reversing of the motor and normal washer operations.
Operating Instructions Continued Rinse Spin Option This option is for loads needing rinse and spin only. Also useful for finishing a cycle that’s been canceled by a power interruption or by turning power off.
Cycle signals There are two cycle signals that sound signals as an operating convenience. The end of cycle signal beeps 5 times at the end of a wash cycle. This tells you the wash is done and the load can be removed. The deep rinse signal beeps once at the beginning of the deep rinse portion of the cycle.
