Instant -On/Pulsed Radar This t ype of signal appears suddenly when a Radar unit is “triggered” . The instant -on aler t consists of an intense, thr ee second audio “burst” , coupled with the t ype of band detect ed, signal strength digit 1-9 (V9 6 0 only) and flashing of the signal strength bar gr aph in the displa y .
