4 Electrical Connection T o p r operly inst all your oven, yo u must determine the type of electrica l connection y ou will be usi ng and follow th e instructio ns provided for it here. ■ Oven must b e connected to the proper elect rical volta ge and frequency as speci fied on the model/seri al number rating plate.
5 Mak e Electr ical Connection This ove n is manuf actur ed with a neutral ( white) pow er supp ly wire and a cabine t-connected green (or ba r e ) ground wire twisted together . 1. Discon nect power . 2. Feed the flex ible conduit from the ove n through the opening in the ca binet.
6 1. Connect the 2 black wires (C) together using a UL listed wire connector . 2. Connect the 2 whi te wires (D) and the green (or bare) ground wire (of the oven cable) using a UL listed wire connector . 3. Connect the 2 r ed wires (G) toge ther using a UL li sted wire connector .
7 3. Pull tu be to e nsure it is se cure d. 4. Route copper tu bing through u ndersin k cabine t and oven cabinet cutout. NOTE : Due to t emperatures around oven, coppe r tubing is re qu ire d. 5. Connect the cop per water supp ly tubing to th e oven copper tubing, using a ¼" t o ¼" water s upply union ( not provid ed).
5. On som e models, t he oven ve nt is tap ed to the side of the oven. With o ne #8-14 x ³⁄₈ " scr ew for each side of the vent, fast en vent securely to t he oven. 6. Replace ove n racks. 7. Replace oven door(s) by inserting ends of hinges int o hinge slots in th e oven frame.
