Y ou will find importan t safety in formation and useful operating tips. Using Y our Ne w Dishwa sher 1. Scrape lar ge food soil and hard items (toothpicks or bones ) from dishes.
7 ■ Place items so op en ends face down for cl eaning and draining. ■ Load glass es and cups in top rack only . The bott om rack is not designed for glasses and cu ps. Damage can occur . ■ Place cup s and glasses i n the rows between t ines. Placi ng them over th e tines can l ead to breakage.
8 Mix item s in each sect ion of the ba sket with some p ointing up and some down to a void nest ing. Spray can not reach nest ed items . IMPORT ANT : Always load items (k nives, skew ers, etc.) p ointing down. NOTE S: ■ Do not load silver or silv er -plated s ilverware with st ainless steel.

10 Canceling a Cycle Y ou can cancel a cycl e at any time. 1. T urn t he cycle control knob slowly clockw ise until you he ar water drai ning. Let the dishwash er drain complete ly . 2. Open the door . 3. T urn th e cycle control knob to Off. Chang ing a Cycle or Settin g Y ou can change a cycle anyt ime during a cycle.
11 Dryi ng Syst em During dryi ng, you can see ste am escaping through t he vent at the upper lef t corner of the door . This is normal as the he at dries your di shes.
12 DISHWA SHER CARE Cle aning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d e ter gent is all th at is nece ssary to keep the outs ide of your dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwasher h as a stainles s steel exterior , a stainless s teel clean er is recommended.
