6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Control s Electric ign iters automatical ly light th e surface bur ners wh en control knobs are turned t o LITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw are on the grate. Do not operate a b urner using empty cookware or without having cookware on th e grate.
7 To C l e a n : IMPORT ANT : Before cleaning, make su re all controls are of f and the oven and c ooktop are cool. Do not u se oven cleane rs, bleach or ru s t remo ver s. 1. Remove the bur ner cap from the burner base and clean according to “ Gen eral Clea ning ” section.

11 Meat Thermometer On models wit hout a temperatu re probe, always rely on a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat and poultry . The inter nal temperat ure, not appearance, is w hat counts. A meat thermometer is not sup plied with this appli ance.

14 3. Press ST ART/EN TER. The oven door will automati cally lock. “ LOCKED ” will appear on the disp lay (on some mode ls), and on oth er models, the ON, HEA T and DO OR LOCKED indic ator lights wil l light up . The door will not un lock until the oven cools.

16 4. Insert the door stop cl ip with t he angular surf ace at th e top of the frame hinge s lot, then push in the bot tom of the clip unti l flanges are flush with the front frame. 5. Open the door complet ely and remove the door removal pins. Save door removal pi ns for fu ture use.
