6 COOKTOP U SE Cooktop C ontrols Electric ign iters au tomatically light the surfac e burn ers when control knobs are turned t o IGNITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookware on the grat e. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccupi ed.
7 To C l e a n : IMPORT AN T : Before cleani ng, make sure all controls are of f and the oven and c ooktop are cool. Do not use ov en cleaners, bl each or ru st remov ers . 1. Remove the bur ner cap from the bur ner base and clean according to “General Cleaning” sect ion.
8 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Oven I ndicator L ights The indicat or lights are located along all 4 sides of the di splay . The indicator lights light up or flash when the oven is in one of the follo wing.
9 Contro l Lock The Control Loc k shuts down the control panel p ads to prevent unintended use of the oven. When the control is l ocked, only th e Clock and Timer pads wi ll function. T o Lock/Unlock Contr ol: Before locking, make sure the oven and Timer are off.
10 BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot a ir must be able to circulate. Allow 2" (5 cm) of space around ba keware and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guid e. Alumi num F oil IMPORT AN T : Do not line th e oven b ottom with any type of foil , liners or cookware because perman ent damage will occur to the oven bottom finish.
11 Oven V ent A. Ove n vent The oven vent releases h ot air and moistu re fr om the oven, and should not be blocked or covere d. Blocking or covering the oven vent will caus e poor air circulation, affecting cooking and cleaning result s. Do not set plastics, paper or other items that could melt or bur n near t he oven ven t.

Exposure to the fume s may result in death to certain birds. Always m ove birds to another clos ed and well-venti lated room.
