15 12-Hou r Shut -Off Styles 1, 2, 3 & 4 - Ele ctronic Oven Contr ols The oven contr ol is set to automati cally shut off th e oven 12 hours a fter the oven tu rns on .
16 BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot air must be able t o circulate. Allow 2" (5 cm) of space around ba keware and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guid e. Spli t Ov en Rack (on so me models) Split-Rack wit h Removab le Insert The split-rack with removable insert is a spa ce maximizer .
17 Oven V ent The oven vent releases h ot air and moistu re fr om t he oven, and should not be blocked or cover ed. Blocking or covering the vent will cause poor ai r circulation, affectin g cooking and cleanin g results. Do not set plast ics, paper or oth er items that could melt or burn near the oven vent.
18 Broi ling Broiling uses dir ect radiant heat to cook food. Changing the temperature when Cu stom Broiling allows more pr ecise cont rol when cooking. The lower th e temperature, the slower the cooking. Thicker cut s and unevenly shaped piece s of meat, fish and poultry may cook better at lower broiling te mperatures.
19 ■ When roasting p oultry and meat, use th e roasting rack on t he top of the broi ler pan a nd grid. It i s not neces sary to wait for the oven t o preheat, unles s recommended in the recipe.
20 CONVECT ION ROAS TING CHART Hol d W arm F eature (on som e models) IMPORT AN T : Food must be at serving temperature before placing it in the warmed oven. Food may be held u p to 1 hour; however , breads and casseroles may become too dry if left in t he oven during Hold Warm.
21 Style 2 - Elect ronic Oven Control To U s e : 1. Press WARM. 2. Set th e temperat ure (op tional). Press t he TEMP “up” or “down” arr ow pad to raise or lower the tempera ture in 5°F (5°C) amounts to se t a temperature other than 17 0°F (75°C).

Press t he TEMP “up” or “down” arr ow pads to enter a temperatu r e other than th e one displayed. 3. Press COOK TIME. 4. Press the HR and MIN “u p” or “down” arrow pads to enter the desir ed length of tim e to cook.

25 Style 2 - Elect ronic Oven Control (on some models) The AUTO CLEAN self-clea ning cycle is time adjust able bet ween 2 hour s 30 minut es and 4 hours 3 0 minutes in 15- minute increments. Su ggested clean t imes are 2 hours 30 minutes for light soi l, and 4 hours 30 minutes for heavy soil.
