3 The Anti-Tip Br acket The range will not tip during normal use. However , the range can ti p if you appl y too much force or weight to the open d oor wit hou t the anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.

7 ACCUSI MMER ® Fe a t u r e The ACCUSIMMER ® Feat ure setting is an ad justable h eat sett ing for more precise simmering. It is the l e ft front s urface cooking area or element. The indi cator light will glow when the ACCUSIMMER ® Fe atur e is in use.

9 Home Canning When canning for l ong periods, al tern ate the use of surface cooking areas, elements or su rface bur ners between batches. This allows ti me for the most recently use d areas to cool. ■ Center the canne r on the grate or largest surface cooking area or element.

12 Meat Thermomete r On models wit hout a temperatu re probe, always rely on a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat and poultry . The inter nal temperat ure, not appearance, is wha t counts. A meat thermometer is not sup plied with this appli ance.
13 Before br oiling, position rack according to Broiling Chart. It is not necessary to preheat the oven be for e puttin g food in unless recommended in the r ecipe. Position food on grid in the broil er pan, then place it in the cen ter of the oven rack.
14 T o Set a Ti med Cook: 1. Press BAK E (optio nal). 2. Press the TEMP “ up ” or “ down ” arro w pads to enter a temperatu r e other than th e one displayed. 3. Press STOP TIME. 4. Press the HR and MIN “ up ” or “ do wn ” arr ow pads to ente r the desired time to end cooking.

19 Oven Door For normal range use, it is not s uggested to remove t he oven door . How ever , if neces sary , follow these inst ructions. The oven door is heavy . Before Removing : 1. Use a putty knif e or screwdriver and in sert it at th e bottom corner of th e door stop clip.
