4 SA VE THESE INSTRUCTIONS For self-cleaning ovens: ■ Do Not Clean Door Gasket – The door gasket is essential for a good seal. Care should be taken not to rub, damage, or move the gasket. ■ Do Not Use Oven Cleaners – No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kind should be used in or around any part of the oven.

6 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Display When power is firs t suppli ed to the appl iance , “PF” will appear on the dis play . Press OFF/CANCEL to clear . Any othe r time “PF” appears, a power failure has occurred. Press OFF/CANCEL and reset the Cl ock if needed.
7 All T ones All of the abov e tones are preset on, all ex cept th e end-of-cycl e tones can be turned off. T o T urn Off/On: Press and hold STOP TI ME for 5 sec onds. A tone will sound and “oFF” or “Snd OFF” (depending on your model) will appear on the displ ay .
8 BEFORE USING Odors are normal when th e range is new . Thi s happens t he first time the oven i s used. IMPORT AN T : The health of s ome birds is ex tremely sensi tive to the fumes given off. Expos ure to the fumes may result in d eath to certain birds.
9 Meat T hermomet er On models wit hout a tempe rature probe, always rely on a meat thermometer to determine do neness of meat and poultry . The inter nal temperat ure, not appearan ce, is what coun ts. A meat thermo meter is not suppli ed with this ap plian ce.
10 Broil Broiling uses dir ect radiant heat to cook food. Changing the temperat ure when Custom Broilin g allows more pr ecise control when cooking. The lower the tempe rature, the slowe r the cooking. Thicker cu ts and uneven ly shape d pieces of meat , fish and poultry may cook better at lower broiling te mperatures.
11 T imed Cooking Timed Cooking allows the oven to be set to turn on at a certain time of day , cook for a set length of time, and/or shut off automatical ly . DELA Y ST ART TIME should not be used for food such as breads an d cakes be cause they may not bake properly .

13 General C leaning IMPORT AN T : Before clean ing, make sure all controls are of f and the ov en is coo l. Always fol low labe l instructio ns on cle aning products. Soap, water and a soft cloth or sponge are suggested first unless otherwis e noted.
14 Oven Door For no rmal range use, it is not sugge sted to r emove t he oven door . How ever , if necessary , follow thes e instru ctions. The oven door is heavy . T o Remove: 1. Open oven door all the way . 2. Flip up the hinge la tch on ea ch side.
