1 ENGLISH Owner’s Manual This Bell helmet complies with the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets. All safety equipment has limits. Read this helmet manual carefully and follow instructions completely . Limited Impact Protection Helmet s cannot always prot ect against injury .
Fitting the Helmet to Y our Head In order for your Bell helmet to work corr ectly , it must fit and be wor n correctly . Follow these five simple steps to learn how to properly fit and wear your helmet.
STEP 3: Adjust the Chin Strap Always wear the helmet with the chin strap buckle fastened and the strap pulled tight. Figures 4 and 5 show how to fasten and r elease the buckle. Make sure the strap is well back against the throat, NOT on the point of the chin.

POINT 2: Ajustez Les Sangles Pour régler la position des sangles : 1. Ouvrir les dispositifs de réglage Cam-Lock (Figure 2). Mettre le casque et faire passer les sangles par les dispositifs de réglage jusqu’à ce qu’elles soient dans la position correcte indiquée à la Figur e 3 ci-dessus.
POINT 4 : Adapter Le Casque À La Forme De V otre Crâne Le casque est bien adapté lorsqu’il est maintenu en place, fermement mais confortablement, par les coussinets posés à l’intérieur du casque et les attaches du casque.
POINT 5 : Assurez-V ous Que Le Casque Est Bien Adapté Et Réglé Avant de vous servir du casque, assur ez-vous qu’il est bien adapté, que les san- gles sont bien ajustées, et que la mentonnière est convenablement serrée. Mettez le casque en respectant la position corr ecte.
Casques Munis D’une Visiére Certains casques sont munis de visières attachées par des tenons. Pour retirer la visière, observez les points suivants : 1. Saisissez les deux extrémités de la visière en l’éloignant du casque, puis tirez vers l’extérieur .
