Cold Water and Ice Dispenser... FOR ICE: Press a sturdy glass against the ice dispenser bar. (Pressure and tumbling can break a fragile we the glass to stop glass.) Remc dispensing. The first few batches of ice from the ice maker may have a bad taste.

Vacation Short vacations. . . No need to shut off the refrigerator if you will be away for less than four weeks. Use up perishables; freeze other items. If your refrigerator is equipped with an automatic ice maker, 1) turn it off; 2) shut off the water supply to the ice maker; 3) empty the ice bin.
