7 DISHWASHER LOADING Loading Suggestions ■ Remove leftover food, bones, toothpicks and other hard items from the dishes . It is not n ecessary t o rinse the dishe s befor e putt ing them into the dishwas her . The wa sh module removes food particles from t he water .
8 Adj ustab le to p rack (on some model s) Y ou can raise or lower th e top rack to f it tall items in eith er the top or bottom rack. One adjuster is lo cated on each side of the top rack. T o adjust the top rack 1. Hold the t op rack with one han d near the adju ster .
9 Fold-down tines Y ou can fold down on e row of tines at the b ack of the botto m rack. 1. Grasp the tip o f the tin e that is in the t ine hold er . 2. Gently pull the tine out of the t ine holde r . 3. Lay th e row of tines down in the rack to ma ke room f or lar ger dishe s, bow ls, pots, pans or r oasters.
10 Cutlery Basket (on some models) Use the cutl ery basket to ho ld long it ems. Always u nload or remove the cutlery bas ket before unloading the racks t o avoid spill ing wa ter on to the cutler y . NOTE : Remove the bas ket and ti p the contents on to a cutting board to unload.

13 † A small amount of wa ter runs th rough the pump to remov e soil partic les. Canceling a Cycle Anyti me during a cyc le, press Cancel/Drain glows. The dishwas her pauses for about 5 seconds and starts a 2 -minute dr ain (if neede d). Let th e dishwash er drain completely .
14 Op tio n S el ect io ns Y ou can customize your cycl es by pressin g an option. If you change your min d, press the option again to turn the option off. Selec t a different option if de sired. Y ou can change an option an ytime before the se lected opt ion begins.
