5 W ASHER USE Understanding W ash er Cycles When the Cycle Con trol knob is set to a number an d pulled ou t, the washer fi lls (to the sel ected load size) before agitation and timing s tart. The wash er begins agi tating immediat ely afte r fill ing; agitation occ urs with the was her lid down.

9 Wa s h e r w o n ’ t drain or spin ■ Is the drain hose cl ogged, or the end of the d rain hose more than 72 in. (183 cm) above the floor? See the In stallati on Instructi ons for proper install ation of drain hose . ■ Is the lid open? The lid must be closed during operat ion.
10 Stains o n load ■ Did yo u follo w the ma nufact urer ’ s directions when adding detergent and fabric s oftener? Measure detergent and fabri c softener . Us e enough dete r ge nt to remove soil an d hold it in suspens ion. Dilute fabric softener and add to the rinse port ion of a cycle only .
