6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls Electr ic ignit ors automa tically light the surface burners when control knobs are turned t o LIGHT . Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw ar e on t he grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccu pied.
7 To C l e a n : IMPORT ANT : Before cleaning, make su re all controls are of f and the oven and c ooktop are cool. Do not use ov en cleane rs, bleach or rust remov ers. 1. Remove the bu rner cap from the burne r base and clean according to “General Cleani ng” section.
8 O V EN USE Electr onic Cloc k/Timer Display When pow er is first s upplied to t he applian ce, everyt hing on th e displa y wil l light u p for 5 seco nds. Then , the tim e of day and “ PF” will appear on the d isplay . Any other time “PF” appears, a power failure occurred.
