2 INST ALLA TION REQUIREMENTS T ools and P arts Gather the required tools and parts before startin g installation. The parts supplied ar e in the washer basket.
3 Location Require ments Selecting the proper location for your washer impr oves performance and minimizes no ise and possible washer “ walk.” Y our washer can be installed in a basement, laundry room, closet, or re cessed area . See “Drain System.
4 Electrical Require ments ■ A 230 volt, 50 Hz ., AC only , 10-amp, fused electrical supply is requir ed. A time-delay fuse or circu it breaker is recom mended. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this appliance be provided. ■ This washer is equipped with a po wer supply cord having an eart hin g plug .

6 Connect the inlet hoses wi th the adapters, to the water faucets Make sure the wa sher bask et is empt y . 1. Attach the end of the hose with the adapter , labeled hot, to the hot wate r faucet. Screw o n coupling by hand until i t is se ated on th e washer .
7 Secur e the Dr ain Hose 1. Remove the shipping strap from the power cord. Drape the power cor d ove r the console. 2. Remove any ca rdboar d used to m ove washer . 3. Wrap the drain hose to the laundry tub leg or drain standpipe with the beaded tie strap.
4. If the washer i s not level, mo ve the wa sher out sligh tly , tip back, pr op up the fr ont of the washer with the wood block and adjust the feet up o r down as necessary by twisting the feet. T u rn the feet clockwise to raise the washer or counterclock wise to lower the washer .
