4 Location Require ments IMPORT ANT : Observe all governing cod es and ordinances. Check the locat ion where the air condi tioner will be inst alled. Proper in stallat ion is you r responsi bility . Mak e sure you hav e everyt hing necessary for correct in stalla tion.
5 T o test your power supply co rd: 1. Plug power s upply cord int o a grounded 3 prong out let. 2. Press RES ET . 3. Pr ess TES T (listen for click; Rese t butt on will trip a nd pop out). 4. Press and release RESET (lis ten for clic k; Reset bu tton will latch a nd remain in).

10 Display Sy mbols Exhaust Air The Exhaust Air featu re allows the air condit ioner to either recirculate inside ai r (CLOSED) or ex haust air to the outside (OPEN). ■ CLOSED — used wh en maximum cooling i s desi red. It may also be used for air recirculation without cooling whe n the air condit ioner is set to Fa n mode.
