Built-in opening reaujrrements Electrical Shock Hazard Electrical wiring, water supply line, and drain line must not contact any exposed terminals of the dishwasher wiring. Cabinet opening must completely enclose sides, top and back of dishwasher. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or electrical shock.
Electrical requirements Electrical Shock Hazard Electrically ground dishwasher. Connect grounding wire to green grounding nut in terminal box. Do Not ground to a gas supply pipe. Do Not connect dishwasher to electrical supply until appliance is permanently grounded.
Water requirements All solder connectlons must be made before the wafer line Is connected to the dlshwasher to prevent damage to Inlet valve. Do Not solder wlthln 6 Inches (15 cm) of the Inlet valve. The plastic part of the Inlet valve could be damaged.
Drain requirements The drain hose must connect to the house plumblng at a mlnlmum of 20 Inches (50.8 cm) above the floor. Thls will prevent backflow or water slphonlng out of dlshwasher durlng operatlon. If the draln hose Is routed to a connectlon point less than 20 Inches (50.
