5 Cómo limp iar su refrigerador a ntes de usarlo Una vez qu e usted ha ya quit ado todos los materi ales de empaque, li mpie el interior de s u refrigerador antes de usarlo. V ea las ins trucciones de li mpieza en “Cuidad o de su r efri gerad or”.
6 Requisitos del suministro de agua Reúna las he rramientas y piezas neces arias antes d e comenzar la instal ación. Lea y siga l as instruccion es provistas con cualqu iera de las herramie ntas enlis tadas aquí .
7 Puertas del refrig erador Reúna las herramient as y piezas neces arias y lea todas las i nstruccion es antes de comenzar la ins talación. HERRAMIENT AS NECESARIAS: Llaves de cabeza hexagonal de ¹⁄₄ " (6,35 mm) y ⁵⁄₁₆ " (7,94 mm) y un destor nillador de cab eza plana.
8 Quite las manijas (opcional) Estilo 1 1. Apriete con su mano firmemente el frente del ad orno. Desl ice el adorn o superior haci a arriba y el inferi or hacia abajo de l a manija . Separ e las pi ezas d el adorno de los tornillos de tope. V e a la ilustra ción 1.
9 4. Alinee y reemplace l a bisagra su perior izquierda según se muestra. V ea la ilust ración 4. Apriet e los tor nillos. Estil o 1 ■ Reconecte l as dos conexiones a tierra. ■ Reconecte el enchufe de cab leado. Estil o 2 ■ Reconecte el en chufe del cabl eado.
10 5. Usando un taladr o inalám brico, haga un orificio de ¼" (6,35 mm) en la tubería de agu a fría que Ud. eligió . 6. Ajuste la válvula de cierre a la tub ería de agua fría con la abrazadera para tubería.
11 Cómo terminar la instalación 1. Conecte a un contac to de pared de conexión a tierra de 3 terminales. 2. Enjuague el sistema de agua. V ea la sec ción “Preparación de l sistem a de agua ”. NOT A: Puede tomar h asta 24 horas para qu e su fábrica de hielo empiece a producir hielo.
12 USO DE SU REFRIGER ADOR Cómo asegurar la debida circulación del aire Para a segurar las temperaturas correctas, d ebe permiti r que el aire fluya entre las dos secci ones. El aire frío entra por la parte inferior de la se cción del cong elador y continúa h acia arriba.
13 Contro l de t emperat ura de l cajón co nvertible (en al gunos mode los) Puede aju starse el cont rol para que enfríe d e manera apropiada las car nes o los veget ales.
14 Para obtener hiel o picado, los cubos son tritur ados antes de ser despac hados. E sto puede retrasar un po co la dist ribució n del hielo picado. El ruido proveniente del triturador d e hielo es normal y los trozos de hielo pued en variar en tamaño.
15 Estilo 2 Par a apa gar el desp acha dor , pre sione y sos teng a el bo tón LOCK OUT (B loqueo d esactiv ado) hasta que aparezca el indica dor . Los despach adores de agua y hielo no func ionarán. Para desbl oquear el despachad or , presione el botón LOCK OUT (Bloqueo d esactivado) has ta que el indica dor desaparezca.
16 5. Empuje el filt ro nuevo de ntro de la abertura en la reji lla de la base. A med ida que se insert e el filtro, el botón eyector bajará. El botón eyector salt ará nuevamente ha cia afuera cuando el f iltro esté enganchado p or completo. 6. Jale suav emente la tapa para v erificar que e l filtro esté seguro en su l ugar .

Jale el p ortabotell as directament e haci a abajo has ta que se trabe en las len güetas del estant e como se muestra.

22 Mudanza Si Ud. mud a su refrigera dor a una ca sa nueva, si ga los pa sos a continuación para p r eparars e para la mudanza. 1. Si su refrigera dor tiene fábrica de hielo automát ica: ■ Cierre el suminist ro de agua a la fábrica de hielo por lo menos un dí a antes.
23 Las puertas no cierran completamente ■ ¿Está bloqueada la puerta? Mueva los paq uetes de aliment os lejo s de la puer ta. ■ ¿Hay un r ecipiente o un es tante bloqueando el paso? Empuje el recipi ente o el estante nu evamente a la posición correcta.

32 Remove the Handles (optional) Style 1 1. Apply firm pressure with your han d on the face of trim. S lide top t rim u p and bott om tr im dow n away from han dle. Lift t rim pieces off shoulder screws. See Graphic 1. NOTE : S ome models includ e accent pieces between the ha ndle and the han dle trim.

Replace le ft hinge cover an d screws. 6. Replace the refrigerator door by slowly lifting the door onto the bottom right hinge.
34 Connect t o Refrigerat or Style 1 - Connection to W ater V alve 1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect pow er . 2. Attach the copper tube to the val ve inlet u sing a compressi on nut and sleev e as shown. Tighten the comp ression nut. Do not ov ertighte n.
35 2. Use a stur dy contain er to d epr ess a nd hold the wa ter dispenser l ever for 5 seconds, then r eleas e it for 5 seconds. Repeat until wate r begins to flow . Once wa ter begins t o flow , continue d epressing and releasin g the dispen ser lever (5 second s on, 5 seconds off) for an additi onal 2 minutes.
36 Adjusting Controls Give the refriger ato r time to c ool d own c omple tely before addin g food. It is b est to wait 2 4 hours befor e you put food into the r efriger ator . The sett ings indi cated in the pr eviou s sectio n shoul d be correct for normal household refrigerator usage.
37 T o Dispense Water: 1. Press a sturdy glass against t he water disp enser leve r . 2. Remo ve the s turdy glass to stop di spensing . NOTE : W ater may hav e an off-flavor if you do not use th e dispenser pe riodicall y . Disp ense enough wat er every week to maintai n a fresh supply .
38 Dispenser Lock (on some models) The dispenser can be t urned off for easy cle aning or to avoid uninten tional d ispens ing by small children an d pets. NOTE : The lock featu r e does n ot shut off power to the r efriger ator , to the ice m aker , or to t he dispens er light.
39 5. Push the n ew filter in to the openin g in the base grille. As the filter is inserted , the eject butt on will dep ress. The eject button wi ll pop back out wh en the filt er is fully engaged . 6. Pull gently on the cap to ch eck that the fil ter is securely in place.

43 Dispenser Light (on some models) Style 1 Reach through the dis penser area to remove and replace the ligh t bulb. Style 2 The di spenser light s are LEDs which should not ne ed to be changed. If i t appears th at your dispe nser lights are not working, check to be sur e that the light sensor is not block ed (in Night Light mode).
44 P ower Inte rruptions If the power will be out for 24 hours or less, keep the door or doors closed (depending on your model) to hel p food stay cold and frozen. If the power will be ou t for more th an 24 hours, do one of the follo wing: ■ Remove all frozen food and stor e it in a frozen food locker .
45 The motor seems to ru n too much Y ou r new refrigerator may run longer than you r old one du e to it s high-efficiency compressor an d fans. The unit may run even longer if the room is warm, a large food load is added, doors are opened often, or if the doors have been left open.
