3 Chec king Y our V ent Y our dryer must be properly installed and vented to achieve maximum drying ef ficiency and shorten drying times. Use the minimum r ecommended installation clearances (found in your Installation Instructions) to avo i d blocking th e flow of combustion and ventilation air .
4 WA S H E R U S E Loading For these suggest ed full-sized l oads, set the LOAD SIZE selector to the highest load size setting. Startin g Y our W asher 1. Measure deter gent and pour i t into the washer . If desired, add powdered or liquid color safe bleach.
5 3. (OPTIONAL) Add liquid fabr i c softener . NOTE: Y our wash er/dr yer does not come with a fabric softener dispenser ins talled. 6 Startin g Y our D ryer This booklet cov ers several different models. Y our dryer m ay not have all of the cycles and features described. Before using your dryer , wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth to remove dust from storing and shippi ng. 1. Load clothes loosely into the dr y er and close the doo r .
7 Cleanin g th e Lint Scree n Clean the lint scr een before each load. A scr een blocked by lint can increase drying time. IMPOR T ANT : ■ Do not run the dryer with the lin t screen loose, damaged, blocked, or missing. Doing so can cause overheating and damage to both the dryer and fa br ics.

16 Arr ê t et remise en mar che de la laveuse : ■ Pour arr ê ter la laveuse à tout mome nt, appuye r sur le bouton de commande de pr ogramme. ■ Pour r emettre la laveu se en ma rche, rabattre le couvercle (si ouvert) et r et irer le bout on de commande de programme.
