5 Hardwar e Installation 1. Attach the AC adapter to a 100-240V outlet and plug the adapter cord into the back of the hub. 2. The AC adapter is optional and, in most situations, recommended for use ONL Y while you are installing the FireWir e Hub. Once you determine that the devices are working properly , unplug the AC adapter .
