2 Wash skillet, cover and rack if included, in hot soapy water w ith a sponge or dish cloth to remove any manufacturing oils. Rinse thorough ly, then dry, inclu ding terminal pins inside socket of skillet where heat control fits.
3 COOKING INSTRUCTIONS • Operating the Sk illet. 1. Always use skillet on a dry, level, heat-resista nt surface. Do not block airflow under the skillet. Be sure your hands are dry. 2. Attach heat control to skillet, making s ure it is set at “OFF”.
4 • Let Skillet Cool By It self After using skillet, let it cool by itsel f. Do not pour cold water into skillet while it is hot. Although made of extra-thick aluminum, a sudden change in temperature m ay cause the metal to warp. • Remove Heat Control.

7 Breakf ast Brighten ers SCRAMB LED EGGS Break eggs in to a bowl with 1 tablespoon water, milk or cream for each egg; add sa lt and pepper. Blen d thoroug hly. Preheat skillet at 250º, uncov ered. Melt butter or m argarine (1 tablespoon for 2 egg s).
8 1¾ cups milk 2 eggs, sligh tly beaten 2 tablespoon s oil or m elted shorte ning 1. Sif t flour w ith sugar, baki ng powder and s alt. In mixing bowl, com bine, m ilk, eggs an d oil. Add dry ing redients. Blend th orough ly but on ly until l umps dis appear.
9 2 cups pan cake mix 1. In large mix ing bo w l, combine eggs, milk, oil, orange rind and juice. Add pancak e mix. Stir until smooth. 2. Preheat skillet, uncovered, at 350º . Pour scant ¼ cup batter into skillet for each pancake and bake until bubbles break and edges are cooked.

14 1. Combine al l ingredien ts thorough ly. Pack f irmly into a 9 x 4-inch loaf pan. 2. In preheated s killet at 225º, melt 1 tablespoon bu tter. Remove meat loaf f rom pan, place in skillet and bake, cov ered, for 30 m inutes . 3. Carefully turn meat loaf to seco nd side.

16 1. Marinat e potatoes, g reen pepper, on ion and pim ento in salad dressi ng for 2 h ours. 2. Put marinated mixture into skillet. Cook at “sim mer” for 20 minut es. 3. Redu ce to “warm” for servin g. Sprinkle wi th cheese and serve h ot. Makes 6 to 8 serving s.
