3 • When fi nished f rying, un plug cord from wall outlet, s ecure cover on to fry er and all ow covered fry er to cool completely before rem oving oil and cleaning. • Replace charcoal f ilter after every 10 to 12 uses to help reduce odor w hen frying and also to prevent oil f rom overflowing due to using a dirty filter.
4 10. When done, open cover by tu rning cover release kn ob clockwise an d then lifting cover h andle. Lift basket handle up to locked position . Lift basket an d place in drain position . Allow food to drain brief ly in drain pos ition, then rem ove basket from fryer and em pty food ont o paper to weling t o finish draining bef ore serving .
5 For regular cleaning, w ipe top and bottom s ides of cover with a damp soapy cloth, wipe clean and dry . Replace cover on bas e. For more thorough cleaning, rem ove charcoal filter from cover by pushing release clip on f ilter cover. Lift out and set aside.
