3 BEFORE YOU BEGIN Thank you for selecting the new WESLO ® CARDIO- STRIDE UL TIMA treadmill. The CARDIOSTRIDE UL TIMA treadmill is designed to let you enjoy effective cardiovascular workouts in the comfort and conve- nience of your home.

5 1 27 Ta b 5. The Console (1) requires two “AAA” batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Press the indicated tab on the Battery Cover (27), and remove the Battery Cover . Insert two batteries into the two battery clips; make sure that the negative (–) ends of the batteries are touch- ing the springs in the battery clips.
6 LUBRICA TING THE W ALKING PLA TFORM Before the treadmill is used, the walking platform should be lubricated. Open the included lubricant packet. Reach under one side of the walking belt as f ar as you can, and apply half of the lubricant to the walking platform.
7 INCLINE ADJUSTMENT The incline of the treadmill can be adjusted to any of three angles. T o change the incline, first lift the front of the Frame (29) so the small incline knobs on the sides of the Frame slide out of the slots in the brackets on t he Uprights (35, 36).
