4 Operating the Keyboar d Opening the Ke yboard 1. Open the keyboard by pressing the button. 2. Raise the lid and stand so that they are fully extended. 3. Flip up the keyboard connector stand to its full upright position. 4. Pull out the left and right section of the keyboard until the middle section pops up.
5 Operating the Keyboar d (continued) Closing the Ke yboard 1. Gently pull the left and then the right section of the keyboard apart. 2. Push the left and right section of the keyboard forward the center of the keyboard. T he middle section will automatically mov e down and make room for the left and right sections.
6 Operating the Keyboar d (continued) On-Ke yboard Charging T he G700 keyboard is designed with an electronic circuit that accepts A C power . T he power receptacle is located on the side of the keyboard. Note: Y our PDA must be equipped with rechargeable batteries as standard equipment.
Installing the G700 Ke yboard Driv er Before Installation 1. Disable an y other keyboard applications that you ha ve installed on y our Po c ket PC handheld. (Refer to the user guide included with your P ocket PC handheld for instructions on this.) 2.
3. Insert the CD into an optical driv e on the computer . 4. Softw are installation begins automatically . F ollo w the on-screen instructions to install the software. If installation does not begin automatically , select “Start > Run” from the “Start” menu on your desktop or notebook computer .

10 Installation and Operation (continued) Connecting and Removing the PD A 1. Align the PD A ’ s connector with the keyboard’ s connector . Gently slide the PD A onto the connector until it is firmly seated on the connector .
Configuring the Ke yboard Y ou can configure sever al features on your Belkin G700 PD A Keyboard. T o customize your keyboard: 1. On y our P ocket PC handheld, na vigate to the “Belkin G700 Keyboard” application and open it. 2. Select the “Setting” tab.
4. T ap the ”Map hardw are buttons” and c heck the box that progr ams the shortcuts that you need. Select the “Map hard ware buttons” combo box that is a required key to map the “Calendar/T asks/Home/Contacts” hardw are buttons. T his is useful when using the keyboard for gaming.

15 Assigning Hotkeys Y ou can assign specific hot key combinations (Fn + 0 through Fn + 9) to directly launch a v ariety of applications with just a few keystrokes. 1. On y our P ocket PC, tap the “Belkin G700 K eyboard” application and launch it.
16 A) How do I uninstall the dri ver? Select “Start > Settings > System tab > Remov e Programs”. Select “Belkin G700 K eyboard” from the list of applications and then, select “Remov e”. Reset your P ocket PC for sev eral seconds so y our new settings can take effect.
