The versatile WEIDER ® PRO 425 weight bench is designed to be used with your own weight set (not included) to develop every major muscle group of the body .
5 This chart is provided to help you identify the small parts used in assembly . The number in parentheses below each part refers to the key number of the part from the P ART LIST on page 14 of this manual. Important: Some parts may have been pre-assembled for shipping purposes.
6 1. Before assembling this weight bench, be sure that you have read and understand the infor- mation in the box above. Press two 75mm x 50mm Inner Caps (20) into the ends of an Upright Stabilizer (5). Attach an Upright (4) to the Upright Stabilizer (5) with two M10 x 65mm Carriage Bolts (41) and two M10 Nylon Locknuts (35).
40 2. Position the Crossbar (3) between the two Uprights (4). Note: Make sure the decal on the Crossbar is in the position shown. Attach the Crossbar to each Upright with four M10 x 95mm Bolts (34), two Support Plates (21), and four M10 Nylon Locknuts (35).
8 6. Screw the Backrest Adjustment Knob (30) into the Frame (1). Pull the Knob out as far as it will go and lower the Backrest Bracket (9) between the Bench Frame. Snap the Knob into an adjustment hole in the Backrest Bracket. Lubricate an M10 x 140mm Bolt (37).
Adjustment Hole 9 1 1. Attach the Seat (7) to the bracket on the Seat Frame (6) using two M6 x 16mm Bolts (31). Attach the other end of the Seat to the Seat Frame with an M6 W asher (19) and an M6 x 50mm Bolt (39). 10. Press four 19mm Round Inner Caps (24) into the ends of the two Pad T ubes (25).
10 ADJUSTING THE BACKREST The Backrest (8) can be used in eight different posi- tions. T o adjust the Backrest, hold the Backrest up and pull the Backrest Adjustment Knob (30) out as far as it will go. Move the Backrest to the desired posi- tion and insert the Knob into an adjustment hole in the Backrest Bracket (9).

12 Rest for a short period of time after each set. The ideal resting periods are: • Rest for three minutes after each set for a muscle building workout. • Rest for one minute after each set for a toning work- out. • Rest for 30 seconds after each set for a weight loss workout.
