5 P AR T IDENTIFICA TION CHAR T This char t is provided to help you identify the small parts used in assembly . The number in parenthesis below each par t refers to the k ey number of the par t. The second number ref ers to the quantity needed for assemb ly .
1. Before beginning assemb ly , be sure that y ou have read and under stand the information in the bo x above. Set the Left and Right Base Sections (40, 47) on the floor as shown. The indented holes must be f acing the floor . Insert two M8 x 48mm Carr iage Bolts (3) up through the indicated holes.
3. Press two 2 1/2” Square Bushings (22) into the W eight Carr iage (15). Press two 1” Round Inner Caps (21) into the Weight Carriage. Press a 2 1/2” Square Bushing (22) into the Carriage Stop (18). The hole in the Square Bushing must be aligned with the indicated hole in the Carriage Stop.
6. Slide the Left Upright (42) onto the indicated M8 x 48mm Carriage Bolts (3). Hand-tighten an M8 Nylon Lockn ut (7) onto each Carr iage Bolt. Be sure that the Upright is tur ned as shown. Do not tighten the Nylon Lockn uts yet. Attach the Right Upright (43) in the same manner .
9. Lubricate an M10 x 75mm Bolt (5). Attach the Bench F rame (33) to the Cross Brace (30) with the M10 x 75mm Bolt and an M10 Nylon Lockn ut (4). The Bench Frame m ust be turned as shown. Do not overtighten the Nylon Lockn ut. Attach the Bumper (24) to the Bench F rame (33) with an M4 x 25mm Screw (44).
13. Lubricate an M10 x 75mm Bolt (5). Attach the Backrest Br ackets (38) to the Bench F rame (33) with the M10 x 75mm Bolt and an M10 Nylon Lockn ut (4). Do not overtighten the Nylon Lockn ut. Rest the Backrest Br ackets (38) on the Adjustment T ube (37).
16. W et the ends of the Lat Bar (31) with soap y water . Slide a Handgrip (39) onto each end of the Lat Bar . CA UTION: Allow the Handgrips (39) to dry thoroughl y before using the Lat Bar (31). 17. Be sure that all par ts hav e been tightened properly .
ADJUSTING THE WEIDER PR O 335 The weight bench is designed to be used with y our own weight set (not included). The steps below e xplain how the weight bench can be adjusted. See EXERCISE GUIDELINES on page 14 f or impor tant e x ercise information and ref er to the accompanying ex ercise poster to see the correct f o rm for each e xercise .
13 A TT ACHING THE LA T BAR T O THE HIGH PULLEY ST A TION Attach the Lat Bar (31) to the Cable (10) with a Cab le Clip (34). W ARNING: Alwa ys sit on the backrest when using the high pulley station. The backrest must be in the level position (see ADJUSTING THE BA CKREST on page 12).
