Operation Before performing any wiring to sump pump disconnect power to pump. 1) Plug FloodAlert into a 120-volt grounded wall outlet. 2) Insert the battery jumper (See Figure 2). 3) Plug grounded pump into Flood- Alert outlet. 4) Run the sensor wire to the sump and fasten using wire ties.
