58 58 T roubleshoot ing Pr ob lem : My wireless PC cannot connect to the Router. So lu ti on : 1. Make sure the wireless PC has the same SSID settings as the Router, and you have the same security settings on the clients such as WPA or WEP encryption.
59 59 T roubleshoot ing No, my network name is not listed—go to the troubleshooting solution titled “I can’t connect to the Internet wirelessly, and my network name is not listed”. Pr ob lem : I can’t connect to the Internet wirelessly, but my network name is listed.
60 60 T roubleshoot ing So lu ti on : Wireless technology is radio-based, which means connectivity and the throughput performance between devices decreases when the distance between devices increases. Other factors that will cause signal degradation (metal is generally the worst culprit) are obstructions such as walls and metal appliances.

To access the advanced setup interface, type this IP address into the address bar of your browser. This address can be changed if needed. To change the IP address, type in the new IP address and click “Apply Changes”.
