Many gr aphics applications hav e dra wing tools that respond to the pressure you place on the pen.

These options (av ailable f or Intuos3 9x12 / A4-regular , 12x12 / A4 Ov ersize , and 12x19 / A3 Wide tab lets) divide the tablet into tw o independent areas: a large area f or drawing, and a small area f or quick na vigation.

C USTOMIZING I NDEX C ONTENTS I NDEX C ONTENTS 46 46 Customizing tablet T ouch Strips When you select the tab let T OUCH S TRIP tab , the currently set function of each T ouch Str ip is displa yed. Each T ouch Strip can be customized to issue zooming, scrolling, or k eystrok e actions.
C USTOMIZING I NDEX C ONTENTS I NDEX C ONTENTS 47 47 • T ouch Strip scroll settings. Each tablet T ouch Str ip can be customiz ed to issue scrolling only actions. When S CROLL is selected, an up or down motion on the T ouch Str ip will cause a scroll up or down action in most applications.
C USTOMIZING I NDEX C ONTENTS I NDEX C ONTENTS 48 48 • T ouch Strip zoom settings. Each tablet T ouch Strip can be customized to issue zoom only actions . When Z OOM is selected, an up or down motion on the T ouch Str ip will cause a zoom in or out action in most graphics applications .

When the nib gets too shor t or de velops a flat point, y ou can replace it with another nib .
