28 Remote Inst allation Step 1 Identifying the IP Addr ess Once your Switch has been connected to your network and is powered up, a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server on your network will automatically assign the Switch an IP address, gateway addr ess, and subnet mask.

40 Remote Inst allation Idle Timeout Select the maximum time allowed for inactivity before the user is disconnected from the r emote session. Choose “No Timeout” to disable the Idle Timeout feature. By default, the timeout inactivity period is set to 10 minutes.
