7 1. POWER button - This button is used to turn the GIG MAN PLUS ‘ON’ or place it in ST ANDBY mode. NOTE: When in ST ANDBY mode, the GIG MAN PLUS is not completely powered down and it still contains residual power . 2. INPUT button - This button toggles through all of the INPUT channels (DISC, TUNER, A V1, A V2) for available INPUT SOURCES.
8 11. DELA Y contr ol - Use this control to adjust the DELA Y setting of the ECHO ef fect. As DELA Y adjusts the total begin- to-end length of each echo inter val, the more DELA Y that is applied, the longer each ECHO inter val will take to com- plete.

When you enable the VOCAL P ARTNER feature, the lead vocal layer will be removed as long as you are singing into the microphone.

11 4. SET A/B button - This feature allows you to select a section of the disc for repeat playback. While a disc is playing, press the A/B button once to select the beginning point of the sele- ction. Press the A/B button again to select the end point of the selection.
12 17. MODE button - Press this button to display the first nine tracks’ information on the video display . NOTE: This function is only available with VCD media. 18. DIGIT AL KEY CONTROL button - These buttons direct the DIGIT AL KEY CONTROLLER # - Raises the musical key a half step each time it is pressed.

16 A V Input Connections T o connect an A V source player , use an RCA-type A V cable with red, white and yellow colored plugs. For AUDIO, connect the L and R AUDIO OUTPUT jacks from the source player to the L (white) and R (red) AUDIO INPUT jacks on the GIG MAN PLUS, using the A V channel of your choice.
17 Microphone/Instrument Input Connection After making your main system connections, it is time to get your microphones and instruments connected and ready for performing.
18 AM/FM Antenna Connection Connecting the FM Antenna to the GIG MAN PLUS The FM antenna looks like a thin wire with a gray plastic plug at one end. To connect the FM antenna to the GIG MAN PLUS, insert the gray plug into the FM antenna receptacle.
19 Preparing a Disc for Playback T urn the power on by pressing the POWER button on the front panel. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray . Inser t a disc into the round recess in the tray with the label side up. Playing a Disc Press the PLA Y/P AUSE button on the front panel or the remote control to begin disc playback.

21 T o pr eset a station higher than 10 While on the desired station, first press the +10 button and then press and hold down the desired number button. For Example: T o set 101.1 as preset 15, set the radio to 101.1, press the +10 button and then press and hold the 5 button for three seconds.
