12 Getting Connected Connecting a Source to the RECODE-1 What you will need: • RCA to 1/8” Stereo Cable (Included) • Mixer or Audio Output Device 1.

RECODE-1 Playback Mode What you will need: • 1/8” to RCA Cable • Headphones Y ou are able to immediately review your tracks on the RECODE-1 as soon as the recording is com- plete Using Headphones: 1. Connect the head phones to the HEAD- PHONE/LINE OUT jack at the base of the RECODE-1 2.
14 Getting Connected cont. Using 1/8” to RCA Cable: 1. Connect the end of the 1/8” cable to the HEADPHONE/LINE OUT on the RECODE-1’ s base and connect the RCA end to an input device such as a STEREO/MIXER or AMP .
15 Recording with the RECODE-1 The RECODE-1 has 512 MB of internal memory that will provide approximately 8 hours of available time (128 kbps). 1. Power on the RECODE-1 by holding the POWER button, hold until POWER LED lights up 2. Ensure that the RECODE-1 is connected to your source via the included 1/8” to RCA cable 3.
16 Recording cont. Utilizing Expandable SD Memory • SD Memor y Card (Not Included) 1. Ensure that the RECODE-1 is OFF 2. Inser t your SD Memory Card into the slot on the bottom of the RECODE-1 3. The RECODE-1 will now record directly to the SD Memor y Card 4.
17 Recording cont. Connecting the RECODE-1 to a PC or MAC Computer What you will need: • PC (WINDOWS XP) or MAC (OSX) computer with USB inputs 1. Press and Slide open the USB connector on the RECODE-1 2. Connect to a USB INPUT on your PC or MAC computer 3.
18 Descriptions & Functions FRONT VIEW 1. POWER - Hold the POWER button to turn the unit on or off. The POWER INDICA TOR will be lit green if the unit is on. 2. RECORD - Hold the RECORD button to initiate recording mode, the RECORD INDICA TOR will blink, and then press PLA Y to star t recording.

22 T roubleshooting 1. Recode-1 will not save new recordings • Ensure that the internal & SD memor y card are not completely full. 2. Recording file is corrupt & will not play • Replace the batter y with a new one. • The batter y may have been too weak, replace prior to your next recording.
