USING THE REMO TE INPUT Change the currently-displayed input. ARROW Navigat e the on-screen menu. EXIT Close the on-screen menu. CL OSED CAPTIONS Open the closed caption menu. A/V CONTROLS Control USB media player . WIDE Change the display mode. MUTE T urn the audio off or on.
INST ALLING THE BASE 1 Plac e the TV screen-down on a clean, flat sur f ace. T o prevent scr atches or damage t o the screen, plac e the T V on a soft sur fac e, such as carpet , rug, or blank et . 2 Align the base with the stand neck. Attach the stand neck by inser ting and tight ening the 6 included hex screws.
3 Tight en the thumbscrew int o the base. 4 Plac e the TV on a stable, level s ur f ac e..
FIRST-TIME SE TUP 1 R emove the batt er y cover by pr essing gently on the arrow and sliding away f rom the r emote. Inser t the included bat teries. Gently slide the ba ttery cover back in to plac e. 2 Connect the power c ord to the back of the TV . Plug the power c ord in to an electric al outlet .
3 If you have an external ant enna or a cable c onnection that extends f rom a wall outlet, connect it t o the T V with an RF /Coaxial c able. 4 T urn the T V on by pressing the P ower button on the remote. The Setup App is displayed. Use the Arrow butt ons on the remote t o highlight your pref erred language and pr ess OK .
5 Use the Arrow butt ons on the remote t o highlight Home Mode and press OK . 6 Use the Arrow butt ons on the remote t o highlight your time zone and pr ess OK .
7 Answer the on-screen questions about your T V c onnection using the Arrow and OK butt ons on the remote. 8 Highlight Begin the channel scan and pr ess OK . When you have finished the channel scan, highligh t Exit to Live T V and press OK . The F irst -Time Setup is c omplete.
