GENERAL INFORMATION Computer System Requirement s The ViviC am 3345 is designed to work with your home or office computer. To ensure proper operation your computer must meet the following requirements.
5 GETTING STARTED Camera Features Please refer to the following diagram s to identify the fea ture s of the ViviCam 3345 : Front View Rear View Power/Mode Button Lens Flash USB port View f inder Self .
6 Insert ing a nd Remov ing an SD or MMC Memory Card The ViviCam 3345 ac cepts a S ecur e Digital (SD) or a M ultiMedia Card (MMC) memory card up to 256 MB capacity . The memory card takes priority over the internal memory . Whenever a memory card is inserted the camera will immediate ly use the memory card in preference to the internal memory .
7 USING THE VIVICAM 3345 Power ing the Camera ON/OFF • To turn the ViviCam 3345 ’s power ON , press and hold the button for three to four seconds .
8 The Select Button Icon Description s Auto matic Flash : The flash will fire if there is insufficient ambient light Note: The flash icon blinks when the flash capacitor is charging .
9 Using the Flash 1. Press the button to select the desired resolution . 2. Press the Select ( ) button to toggle through the following options and select your desired flash and exposure setting s : Flash OFF/Outdoor ? Auto flash/Outdoor ? Flash OFF/Indoor ? Auto flash/Indoor ? Flash ON/Indoor ? Flash ON/Outdoor.
10 Record ing Digi tal Video 1. Press and hold the button for three to four seconds to power on the camera. 2. Press the button four times to t he Movie icon . 3. Press the Select ( ) button to s elect the desired exposure setting: Indoor or Outdoor 4.
11 3. To return to the main screen without deleting any file, press the Select button twice . DO NOT press the Shutter button. D elet ing A ll Images and Video s 1. Press and hold the Select button for one second . The Delete Last icon will a ppear on the status LCD.

14 MAKING CONNECTIONS Connect ing to your PC After the software installation is completed , connect the ViviCam 3345 to the computer to download the imag e s and video s. F ollow the se steps : 1. P ower OFF the camera . 2. Plug the small end of the USB cable in to the USB port on the ViviCam 3345 .
