6. Getting Started • Installing C amera Batteries: 1.Slide open the batt ery compartment cov er. 2.Insert batte ries. Be su re to load ba tteries with + and – terminal s as show n on the camera.
• Inserting SD Card: The camera re quires SD car d for storin g pictures and videos: SD Card – The SD cards prov ide removable, reusable storage for pictures and v ideos. Store as many pict ures as you li ke, dependin g on the size of the card. CA UTI ON: The card can only be inserte d one way; forcing it may damage the camera or card.
• Setting the Date, Time and Date Stamp: Use the following proce dure to change the date and time setting. 1.Slide the Function switch to (capt ure st atus). 2.Press the Mode bu tton twice to tu rn on functi on menu. Pres s the Shutter butt on. 3.Press or to adjust the date and time.

12. Install ing Y our Camera Driver and So ft ware • Installing Driv er 1.T urn on the computer . 2.Inser t installation CD into the CD-ROM d rive and the inst allation CD menu will appear . 3.When y ou see the follow ing screen, choose “ Instal l Web Cam Driv er ”.
